# Tierlink

> Tierlink is a free, personal, non-commercial web app to compare tier lists with friends, live. Someone creates a list of items to rank (films, games, songs…), sends the link, and each player (2 to 8) drags the same items from a shared pool onto their own tier list; every move shows up live on the others' screens, and the app shows where you agree or disagree. No account, no cookies, no ads. Interface in French.

The app is a single-page application: pages are rendered in the browser with JavaScript. The pages below describe the service and its rules; a game itself needs the private link of its room (`/r/<id>`), which is never public.

## Facts

- No account: a random browser id kept in local storage gives back a player's seat and their saved rankings.
- Rooms are deleted after 30 days without activity; a player can leave a game, export or erase all their data.
- « Écouter ensemble » plays a YouTube video for all players at once, loaded only after the viewer's consent.
